Yorkdale Mall
Ahhh Yorkdale Mall, a parking nightmare but once you are inside pure luxury and shopping tranquility.
If you are looking to do some Toronto shopping but don't have the desire to get off the 401 and come into the city then you should stop at Yorkdale Mall.
Upscale fashions mixed with
regular mall fare this mall has Burberry and Tiffany along with
American Eagle and GAP.

Easily
accessable from the 401 (Dufferin or Yorkdale exits) and the
subway, Yorkdale is one of the best shopping malls in Toronto. It is
also quickly becoming the most upscale of all the Toronto malls.
New store offerings include Tiffany, Micheal Kors and Armani Exchange are added to old favourites like Holt Renfrew, Harry Rosen and Coach. Yorkdale will soon also have a Burberry store and American Apparel.
Don't be frightened off but these high end stores, there is plenty of regular mall fare and departement stores only offered in a more sophisticated setting.

My personal
reasons to shop at Yorkdale are as follows:
Crate and Barrel - this US import made its first showing in Canada at Yorkdale mall. I love the modern furnishings, glasswear and frames.
Pottery Barn Kids - I know it makes no sense to spend this kind of money on items babies are just going to grow out of or puke on, but the stuff is just so darn beautiful. Sometimes you gotta splurge.
Banana Republic - ok so this location doesn't carry petities but there is something about the flow of the store at Yorkdale that just works.
Davids - Love to drool over the Louboutins in the display.
Sephora - Makeup galore
Levis - I have never been a big Levis shopper but I went into the store the other day and liked what I saw. I will be going back to try on a few pairs of jeans.
Milestones - I would often meet my good friend here for dinner and a wander around the mall. It was an easy place for us both to meet, eat and shop. Love the spicy thai rollup. Yum.
Remember if you don't want to bother with parking there is always the valet! Find it near the Holt Renfrew entrance.
