Yonge Davenport Neighbourhood Shopping

The Yonge Davenport area might be better known for the MTV Masonic Temple or the massive Canadian Tire location.

It is however smack dab between two elite shopping areas; Yorkville and Rosedale and houses some serious shopping of its own.

Designer consignment, plus fashions and home decor all make this area worth shopping and not just waiting inline for an appearance by an MTV reality star.

You can access this neighbourhood easily from the Rosedale station to the north or the Bloor subway station to the south.

Some of this area is in transition. Ridpaths is closing after 104 years in business and the rumor is that it will be remade into a hotel.  But due to the foot traffic and promise of tourists I forsee the empty storefronts filling fast.
