Trove; Toronto's source for unique fashion finds

Trove is one of those places where you stumble upon something truly unique.

It could be a dress for your next function or a funky pair of shoes.

This Toronto boutique attacks fashion from a different angle than many other boutiques.

You won't find trendy jean labels from New York and LA, instead you are likely to find something no one else has.

Trove

A full service ladies boutique, this boutique has two Toronto locations. One in Bloor West Village and one in Mirvish Village.

The majority of the clothing is meant for every day, with a heavy emphasis on day dresses, pretty tops and full skirts.

Second Denim Company's Yoga jeans are also carried here.

Recently the Bloor West location began to carry party wear. Everything from the shoes to the bags and dresses are in line with the stores sensibilities.

Each piece has something extra special be it a large bow or sparkle in just the right place.

Many of the dresses are short, perfect for prom or a cocktail party.

The party dresses seem to have a younger feel to them than the rest of the clothing carried in the store. Very fun and whimsical.

The last time I was in the store I remember the shoes as a bit chunky, very European looking. Not exactly my taste but they looked very comfortable for walking.

I was excited to see the new lines of sandals that are in store. The wrap almost gladiator sandals are much more on trend and very cool.

Aside from the shoes my favourite item in the store were these clutches. The zigzag pattern is reminicent of Missoni and the wooden handle makes the bag scream summer fun.
