Macramé a 70s Plant Hanger Sat, May 15, 1 – 4 pm

Macramé is a form of textile-making that involves knotting cord made of cotton, hemp, leather or yarn. Make your own classic plant hanger, incorporating beads and other embellishments. $70.

Paper Light Sculptures Sat, May 29 & Sun, May 30, 1 - 5

Learn to create your own one-of-a-kind light sculpture. All materials provided, but feel free to bring pressed leaves, flowers, feathers, etc. to embed into the tissue of your sculpture. You will take home a working hanging or tabletop light. $80.

Streetknit Night Last Tues of every month, 7 pm

Wise Daughters has joined forces with Streetknit, a voluntary organization providing knitted woollies to Toronto’s homeless. Knit and socialize for a really good cause. Donations of knitted goods and yarn welcome.

Art Cards to Make and Trade Last Wed of every month, 7 pm

Pay-what-you-can. Materials provided. Make and trade but one card stays at Wise Daughters for our display!
