Clockwise from the top: tie dye jeans JBrand, printed top Anthropologie, denim on denim Gap, printed skirt Anthropologie, tie dye purse Club Monaco, cargo skinnies JBrand.

A while back I did a special feature on what what coming up for spring 2010.

Now that spring has almost sprung and we are starting to see spring clothes in the stores its time to figure out what the do try and don't try trends are this season.

Tie Dye Tie dye is big this season, but its not the home made hippie shirts from the sixties. No tie dye has gone sophisticated and shows up pretty much everywhere.

While I consider tie dye a do for spring I would stay away from skinny tie dye denim if you aren't 20 and younger OR don't have unbelievably skinny long legs. This is a young tough look to pull off.

Instead try your tie dye in accessories like the Club Monaco bag pictured above or even in a floaty top.

Print Prints are huge for Spring. Especially if you pair print on print. Definitely try this look!

If you are going to pair print on print remember to pair prints in the same colour family.

Do one large and one small or 2 small prints.

If you do two large clashing prints you could have a fashion disaster on your hands.

If you want to keep it simple pair graphic prints in black and white.

Denim on Denim For years we have been told to do one piece of denim at a time. A jean jacket over top of a printed dress. Or jeans with tees and sweaters.

This season it is denim all over. Jean shirts paired with jean pants and vests.

While I am not fond of this look at all and consider it a fashion don't these are the things to remember if you are going to test it out.

Pair lighter and darker denim. If you do one shade all over your look will wash you out and be ***yawn*** boring.

Pair a chambray top with dark wash denim jeans. Even pull out your white jeans to break up the all over blue jean look.

Also when shopping for a denim shirt go for as fitted as you can go before it just looks tight. Over-sized denim shirts look sloppy.

Military The cargo pant is being reinvented this spring, piggy backing off the skinny jean phenomenon.

I am not a fan of the skinny cargo because the pockets tend to drawn too much attention to areas that don't need attention.

However I have found a skinny cargo that is more flattering than the one pictured above. Check out the Martin + Osa version in the olive green!

What looks are a do for you this season?
