Wondering what the top 5 Toronto Mini-chain locations are? They are part of the reason Toronto shopping is a unique experience.

These aren't exactly boutiques although some have at least one location in a boutique-y neighbourhood and not excatly a run of the mill mall store. These offer something more like lux brands or styles that you can't find elsewhere.

Some are more recognizable than others but all offer a twist on your typical mall store and national chains.

1. Mendocino - Mendocino is the most obvious with the most locations, outlets (M by Mendicino), mall locations and boutique stores.

2. Denise - Denise is for the girly girl and has three locations all at Toronto Malls. Shops at Don Mills, Sherway and Bayview Village. 

3. Your Choice - similar to Denise in its unabashedly feminie picks, Your Choice is a bit more upscale and also does minimalist well. Again found at Sherway, Shops at Don Mills and Bayview Village.

4. Want - Want is where Toronto girls go to play dress up. With a huge selection of prom worth gowns and party dresses its easy to not think of this store as a chain. Want also does casual and a bit of work friendly wear.

5. Honey - Honey has a California cool vibe and is the most casual of the bunch.
