Top 5 Teen Shopping; The best neighbourhoods in Toronto for
Teen shoppers
Top 5 teen shopping lists the five best
neighbourhoods for teen shoppers.
Your style can evolve quite a bit as a teen from a young girl or boy to
that of a young adult by the time you hit your twenties.
Teens may flock to malls but there is all sorts of fun shopping in
Toronto that is teen approved and isn't indoors.
1. Yonge Dundas Square -
With the Eaton Center and other teen
favourites like Forever 21 and Boathouse its no wonder teens stream to
Yonge Dundas Square by the hundreds in the summer and on weekends.
Check Sunrise
Records and no less than 4 sport type stores.
2. Queen West - With the Much Music building at 299 Queen Street west
it is no wonder this area is a teen mecca. That and since the shopping
has gone quite commercial almost like an outdoor mall it is easy to see
why the highschool set is drawn here.
3. Yonge & Eglinton - Although a bit more uptown and refined
than the previous two downtown options this neighbourhood is a great
alternative because of the Sporting Life Skate and Board shop,
Mendocino Outlet and an Urban Outfitters location in the Yonge Eglinton Center.
4. Ashbridges - This neighbourhood is probably off most teens radar but
with both a bike shop and a bmx slash skate shop any teen into
skateboards and bikes should be checking Ashbridges out.
5. The Beach - What teenager doesn't love hanging at the beach in the
summer? Well if you aren't heading up to cottage country why not get
the closest thing Toronto has to offer in the Beaches. Get a scoop of
gelato or ice cream at Ed's Real Scoop and pop into the shops before
hitting Lake Ontario.
