Many companies are starting to use organic cotton or eco friendly materials. But not all retailers do it with the same amount of style as these stores!

1. Pistachio - You might have seen the Pistachio section in your Chapters/Indigo location but there is in fact a stand alone store at Yonge & Eglinton. I love this store for its amazing stationary and gifts for newborns. There is also an extensive selection of bath and beauty products. Everything is organic or enviornmentally friendly.

2. baby on the hip - Lots of baby boutiques have a small selection of organic items for newborns and toddlers but no one else has the selection of baby on the hip. I love how modern the kids clothes are and the great gifts for new moms. 

3. Me to We - tweens and teens unite under the banner of me to we. Hoodies and inspirational graphic tees printed on organic cotton and bamboo. Even soon to be divas can enjoy the madura tshirt dress or the bali wrap dress.

4. Preloved - recycling never looked so cool or stylish. Taking old trousers and sweaters and remaking them into dresses and well new sweaters Preloved makes shopping for vintage throughoughly modern. Try Nathalie Roze in Leslieville too for something a bit more craftastic but of the same idea.

5.  Second Denim - denim lovers rejoice! You don't have to pay $300 for a great pair of organic denim. Second Denim of the Yoga jean fame also makes eco jeans made of 97% organic cotton and 3% lycra. I love the look of the Woodstock jean. Check them out at Grassroots on the Danforth.
