The top 5 bathing suit specialty stores are Toronto stores that specialize in swim wear.

As I get older I find that paying for a quality swimsuit flatters the body by holding everything in the right place.

Going to a place where the sales staff takes the time to fit you ends up giving you an even more flattering style.

These are the Toronto boutiques that offer just that!

1. Melmira - Melmira is probably best known as a lingerie specialty shop but takes the same expertise in fittings and applies it to swim wear.

2. Sandpipers - This is one of the two stores I have actually been fitted for a bathing suit. Focusing solely on swim wear there are two locations, one in Yorkville and one at Young & Eglinton.

3. Swimsuit Essentials - This is the second store that I found some great suits for myself. I fell in love with the Seafolly brand at this store and got a mix and match bikini tankini set.

4. Fragola Swimwear - Found at Bayview Village this store has their own inhouse brand in addition to exclusive lines not found in other stores.

5. Sophia's Lingere - Sophia's has excellent recommendations and much like Melmira applies its expertise from bra fittings to swim wear.

I probably could have made this a top 10 list.  Honorable mentions go to Tryst and Avec Plaisir, two more lingerie shops that also stock swim suits.
