These are the Three Things I Want right now!
These are the three things I want right now. From anywhere like Joe Fresh to Holt Renfrew, a downtown boutique or an uptown mini-chain. Plus everywhere in between. High end low end, it doesn't matter these are the things I want.

I went on a bit of a shopping spree this past weekend. I think I had a bit of the mid winter blues and of course my cure is shopping. This is another twist on the three things I want ... The cute chunky grey vest was a find at Vocado. I kept saying to myself that I didn't need it but I really loved the way it hugged my shoulders and the neckline. The boots were my answer to the inaccessible Loeffler Randall boots I posted earlier. These are new Frye's I found at Holts and they are suberb. If you read the Body Blue Denim Lab review you know that I wrote about my shopping experience there. These are the Seven's I bought. So these are the three things I bought. The last three things for a while. I am going on a spending hiatus and will be shopping in my closet. Stay tuned for more!

I haven't been in shopping at Zara in some time. I tend to shy away as their sizing runs small. But I was in there last night and found some really great stuff. These are the three things I want from Zara, the shoe version! I fell in love with these blue ballet flats because of the embellishment. If you are like me you probably already have a few pair of flats but these would add some sparkle and pizazz to your collection. The peep toe booties are all the rage. I have read on a few fashion sites and magazines that many designers are showing this type of lazer cut bootie. Finally the magenta pumps are just fun. If you are stuck in suits all day what a great way to add life to your outfit!

I have been obsessed with getting a great pair of flat boots in a lighter brown colour to round out my boot selection. And I have had my eye on a pair of Loeffler Randall boots for a while now. They are slightly out of my price range (ok waaaaay out) but if they fit well I would probably cave and buy them. These are the three things I want from Loeffler Randall (by way of revolveclothing.com) The first boot which is my first choice has a zip up the back and I LOVE the colour. The last boot is a pull on style that looks like the calf opening is slightly larger than the standard style. The dress in the middle caught my eye. The pattern is cool and it kindof has a disco feel. A great night out dress. You could even pair it with heavy stocking to wear it right now!

I was amazed with the selection at Winners College Park and reminded how vastly different Winners locations can be from one another. The selection wasn't picked over in fact I could have spent my next three months worth of shopping budgets in one fail swoop! These are the three things I want from Winners College Park. The first coat is a pleather jacket. I am not usually into pleather I would rather have the real thing (who wouldn't really?). But I thought the quality was good, and I loved the ruffles and the belt to define the waist. The second of the three things I want was a great woven suede leather bag from London Fog. Love the orangey red colour. What a great bag to carry with a trench for spring! There were so many amazing shoes at College Park, but today I thought these Steve Madden flats were cute and practical.

I didn't get out shopping this weekend. Too busy doing other fun things (skiing, Leafs Game). So I thought I would show you some items that I have bought recently. These are thing things I want, that turned into three things I bought. I seem to spend money more easily on accessories. They make old outfits look new and require very little trying on. The first is a necklace I picked up at
Robber.
I reviewed Robber last week and you might have noticed that in the picture of the necklaces on the wall there was a hole where something used to be. Well it was this necklace I scooped up for myself. Before they were a sponsor, I reviewed
Seraphic
and bought this envelope clutch. It was SO affordable at just under $40. I can't wait to pair it with some of my summer dresses. The last necklace I bought at
Studio WE.
I love this piece because it has a metallic edge. One time when I wore it someone asked if it was heavy - not at all. I chose to get it in the black metallic but Studio WE also had it in sliver. Those are the three things I want for this week!

I never thought I would do a three things I want on graphic tees. I haven't been an avid wearer of graphic tees in sometime. Remember when witty (or not so witty) sayings were all the rage? It seems more likely that you will put them on your child these days than on your grown up self and they have never really screamed fashion forward (ok maybe the J'adore Dior ones did). But I want to give the graphic tee some props as there have been some of late that have caught my eye. Gone are the witty and vulgar sayings replaced with cool graphics instead. These are the three things I want; graphic tees. The first tee is from
Element Eden
and while it is from a brand of skate clothes I could see my thirtysomething non-skater self wearing it with a long sleeved black tee underneath with my jeans and boots. The second tee I found at
Studio We
and I love the cool owl on the front. Too bad it was a size way too small. The shirt is from a brand called numph, a line out of Denmark. Finally we have Miss Marc by Marc Jacobs. This graphic will be on a tee you can find at Holt Renfrew (check out the contemporary department). Shirts are supposed to retail for $65, and I love the cute snowboarder couple. Every ski bunny should have one of these!
I stumbled upon Lands End Canvas by chance, looking at the online version of Lucky Magazine there was a stylish ad and it was associated with Lands End. I was curious because Lands End seemed to me to be associated with fleece and your mothers chinos. Not Lands End Canvas! The stylish younger sister to Lands End is completely wearable for those looking for a bit more fashion forethought in their basics. And while you may think pieces look strikingly similar to JCREW, look at the price and you will be wowed! The three things I want from Lands End Canvas are the super cute bandeau bikini shown left. The
swimwear
is simple and wearable. There are two collections one more sporty and nautical while the other is clean and pretty. I have been looking at classic trenches everywhere, and this I think is my favourite. It marries two things affordability and classically beautiful construction. Too many times the affordable versions look cheap. This
elastic belt
is similar (and might I say better?) than one I tried on everywhere last year. I couldn't get one that was the right size they were all too tight. While I can't comment on the fit, I love to look of this one. Remember to enter the Share the Love contest brought to you by torontoshopoholic.com and Lands End Canvas. I am intrigued by the premise of Preloved, taking old clothing and reworking them into something fabulous. So I went into the store after stalking their designs online to find three things I want. The first picture is a 2T jumper that would look great on my daughter. The super cute heart motif is a Preloved staple. The mits are a great idea, take old holey sweaters and make fuzzy warm mittens. Even better they look cool too. The sweatshirt jacket is pretty neat too. I only saw it in black at the store, but I think online there were more options. The off centered buttons and mandarin collar make it unique.

I will admit I seem to find more things I like on the Urban Outfitters website than in store. But it was easy for me to find these three things I want. The nautical inspired jacket has a sweater feel but the construction of a jacket. The embellished tee has a bit of a rocker edge. Great with Jeans or throw it under a suit for something different. The jewelery stand is more something I need than anything. I thought this branch inspired one would clean up my dresser nicely!

I have been bending the pages of my JCREW catalog since highschool and have been buying regularly since joining the work world. I am addicted to their shoes and cashmere, love their sale section and free shipping promos. This time of year I always think it would be nice to escape the winter blues and head to a white sand beach. These are the three things I want from JCREW. The
printed antique ruffle top
would go great with jeans as shown or under a suit. The
Soleil paisley silk tunic
has the potential to be so much more than a cover up (but would look fantastic on the beach). Imagine it belted with skinny jeans or leggings. The
Jersey Lomellina® retro bandeau tank
bathing suit is great for two reasons. The ruching will hide any imperfections and you could arrive home from your vacation without tan lines! I do think the colours from last year were better but stay tuned as JCREW often releases more colour offerngs as the season progresses.

Like many of you I seem to do as much shopping for myself as others when I am shopping for gifts. These are the three things I want from the Winners at Gerrard Square. The cranberry plaid is a softer version of the red buffalo plaid featured from Joe Fresh. Plus the longer length keeps more of you warm and the belt accentuates and flatters the waist. The ruffles on this black bag makes it more than just another black purse. The ruffles in black leather comes off as both edgy and feminine. As the temperatures keep dropping I turn to down to keep me warm. Puffer jackets keep getting more flattering (remember when they made you look like a marshmallow?). This beige one from DKNY is simple and chic.

Lately I have been wrapping presents and making sure I have gifts for everyone under my tree. I love these Holiday frames. They are perfect to give as a gift with a Christmas portrait of a little one with Santa or one of the whole family! Are you taking a hostess gift this Christmas? These boxes are the great way to give it. From a bottle of wine to cookies, nuts & bolts and chocolates I saw a gift box perfect for each. Plus they are reusable -
a very green
way to wrap up this Christmas. What little girl or boy doesn't need a teddy under the tree? This one keeps on giving because it supports the Canadian Women's Foundation. How thoughtful of you! All of these items are available currently at the Winners in Gerrard Square (and one near you too!).

I am currently mad about Buffalo Plaid! I think this Red one is great alternative to the classic Pea Coat. This Ikat inspired dress is PERFECT if you are
packing for a beach vacation.
I can see myself hanging out on a white sand beach with this over my bathing suit and oversized shades. You could even shorten it and make it into a top to wear with jeans or pair it with tights and so this season over the knee boots. Day to evening a wrap dress is a
wardrobe staple.
It is at home at the office as easily as it is at a bar or out for dinner. A wrap dress is a confidence booster because they are super flattering.
