Teatro Verde Yorkville; an opulent boutique filled with stuff you didn't know you wanted!

Teatro Verde Yorkville is somewhere everyone must see.

Stocking everything from decor and novelty gift items, oversized stuffed animals and even has a full service florist, Tearto Verde unexpectedly became a favourite of torontoshopoholic.com

While I was expecting over the top opulence as the shop is in Toronto's Yorkville neighbourhood. I wasn't expecting to find so many things I could afford and therefore so many things I wanted!


Teatro Verde Yorkville is absolutely stunning and many of the rooms have a strong Asian influence. Although none more so than the room pictured above.

And while the decor is simply breathtaking it is the quirky novelty items that I remember most vividly. The owners definitely have a sense of humor.


Everything from soap on a rope garden gnomes and solar powered bobble head Asian dolls to fun kitchen gadgets and salt and pepper shaker miniature poodles line the shelves so slow down and look carefully.

You will find the florist on the main floor and as the picture above suggests the blooms are beautiful! The greenhouse outside is also filled with outdoor mini trees and plants for the planting season.


When you make your way upstairs to the second floor you will notice a shift in feel.

The lower level was a bit more formal, whereas upstairs is a bit more casual. Perfect decor for a family room or study.

You will also find items for your kitchen, cookbooks and handy gadgets that you won't want to hide away and forget buried in a drawer.

Parents should head into Teatro Verde if for nothing else than to take a peak at the kids section. 

Toys go oversized and are a fun way to decorate a child's room. There are books and games too. Fun titles include "Make your Own Stupid Sock Creatures" and a unique Star Wars book that every fan should have even if it is Dad.



Teatro Verde is found in Toronto's Yorkville Neighbourhood as well as Bayview Village and is open during the following hours:

Mon - Wed 10 - 6

Thurs, Fri   10 - 7

Sat           10 - 6

Sun           12 - 5
