When I was shopping for my wedding dress this time last year I passed Social Butterfly Boutique a bunch of times.
Each time the window display was calling me inside and each time I had to keep going because a wedding dress was the order of the day.
Ever since then I have been wanting to go back. The style is a bit girly, a bit boho and definitely chic.
Social Butterfly is where I want to shop first when I get off my spending hiatus.
Why because it is somewhere I can go for a fabulous top.
Sure Social Butterfly has great jeans from Joe's, and fun jewellery from Polli, but I fell in love with pretty much every blouse I saw!
Lines like numph and Ella Peru offered fun prints to liven up any outfit.
Social Butterfly is one of those places where you can build outfits.
There are great accessories, bags, hats and shoes.
You can even find a selection of coats and one of the first capes that made me think I could pull off a cape!
While the shop has a casual vibe any of the blouses or sweaters can be paired with business clothes to become work appropriate.
If your style is one part bohemian, one part casual chic but are sick of mall stores and jean chains Social Butterfly should be on your list of Toronto shopping.
Plus the atmosphere lends itself to a fantastic shopping experience. I am a sucker for the finishing touches that a chandelier, big mirrors and crown moulding make!
Social Butterfly is found along the Danforth and is open 6 days a week.
