Ski Vacation Packing List
Your ski
vacation packing list will most likely have your skis or board
at the top of the list.
But what else do you pack?
Ski vacations are fun but tiring! And its all about piling on the
layers. And you really don't need as much as you might think!
Start by shopping in your closet. These are the essentials that
you will need for a 7 day ski vacation!

What
to Pack
- ski suit
- long underwear
- ski sweater or fleece
- turtle neck or long sleeved layering tees
- ski socks
- skiing or snowboarding gear
- outfits for dinners out
- alternate winter coat
- winter boots
- pjs
- underwear
- toiletries
When
packing for vacation pick
at least 1 snow suit, plus
your skis or board, boots, goggles, hats and mitts or gloves.
Jeans do not constitute appropriate leg wear for skiing, get a pair of
snow pants!
Bring at least
one set
of long underwear, multiple if you tend to get sweaty and
you can not do laundry where you are staying.
Pack
layering items according to the weather you will be skiing through. Mt.
Tremblant can get to minus 60 degrees Celsius at the top so you will
need more layers than spring skiing at Whistler.
But what about apres ski? That depends on what type of ski vacation you
are having.
Do you plan on staying in with your family after hours? If so you might
just need a pair of jeans to pull on instead of ski pants or hang out
in your pjs.
Do you plan on hitting the bar scene at the base of the mountain or in
town? Then you need
at
least one party outfit for
every night you will be going out.
Ski bunnies leave your stilettos at home and bring your Sorrels
instead.
