Red Pegasus Gifts

Red Pegasus Gifts is one of those places you can count on for something originial.

Whether it is a cool gift bag or card or an actual present people will love this Little Italy shop is one that you should haunt for fun gifts.

There is a wall of upscale wrapping paper plus gifts for kids and babies. But it was the novelty items that I thought were really special.

Gift shops can easily be too cutesy or try too hard to be cool. I found the selection at Red Pegasus walks the line between mainstream and funky or quirky. 

There are gifts that would work for your mom, a new mom, kids and teens. The only thing didn't really see was anything overly masculine. 

There are some very recognizable brands like Berts Bees and those novelty Ipood baby onsies. There are even some scented soaps and cadles that I used to see at Chapters in their gift section at one time. 

Even though these brands are recognizable, the store doesn't come off as something you have seen all before. Probably because the items picked aren't over saturated. 

There is a small selection of jewellery and watches but this in no way is a jewellery shop. It is more that the jewellery compliments the selection of gifts. 

The things I thought were really cool? 

Some of the retro games, the Owl piggy bank and the reuseable bags that would totally double as a gift bag. 

Red Pegasus is found in Toronto's Little Italy neighbourhood, easily accessable on the 506 street car. 

The store is open 7 days a week from 11 am to 7 pm, 12pm to 6pm on Sundays.
