Planet Kid Boutique

Planet Kid Boutique used to be located on Queen West but as of last summer (summer 2009) it found a new home in Toronto's Roncesvalles Village.

Offering clothing for babies and kids plus decor and toys, this boutique may seem like just another Toronto baby boutique.

But what makes this shop different from the pack is the Canadian content.

The majority of the clothing etc offered at Planet Kid is Canadian or even Toronto made.

I tend to shop the girls section first when looking at children's stores as I have a daughter.

I loved the beautiful hand made dresses from Toronto designer Devorah Miller of Red Thread Design.

I am also a huge fan of Tip Toey Joeys which Planet Kid now carries.

This is an equal opportunity store and there is plenty of great stuff for boys too.

Children's clothing ranges from baby (0-24mo) to toddler and kids and tops out at size 6 in some retailers 8 in others.

Other Toronto designers include Baby Ben, Admiral Road and mini mioche.

While this boutique is predominantly filled with clothing there is children's decor and toys as well.

Mosey to the back of the store near the cash to get a better look at these types of items.

Wed. - Sat. 10:00am to 6pm
