Obsession Boutique on the Eglinton Way

Obsession Boutique is  all about special occasion dresses and does them in a big way.

Short or long it doesn't matter but you better like glitz and glamour because that is what all these dresses deliver.

There is a small selection of day wear but the reason to shop here are the dresses and gowns.

If you are looking for your event dress of the season this is a perfect place to start your search.

The racks upon racks of party dresses is staggering for such a small space.

I would ask for help if shopping here. Much like a bridal shop it could be easy to get overwhelmed when searching for your perfect gown. One of the more popular brands they carry is the Sherri Hill line of formal dresses. 

There is more than party dresses here though.

If you look hard enough through the sea of gowns you will find some fashionable separates.

There are jeans, coats and fancy tops. My favourite was a lavender floaty tank with an empire waist and embroidery.

This is a shop for the girly girl who likes to play dress up.

This shop isn't about comfy casual. Even a simple top and jeans comes off glamorous.

There are two types of shoppers that I think would find shopping here irrisistable.

First the event shopper. Whether it is for a gala or for your first prom you can expect to get something to glam up your regular look. There are an array of styles from short to long. Definitely glitzy but nothing that screams ugly bridesmaid.

The other shopper is someone who is looking to carry over the glamour of the evening dresses into their casual looks as well. No simple tees, instead up the ante with girly tops that in no way should be hidden under layers.
