this Toronto designed and made brand now has a Toronto store
in West Queen West
The Mini Mioche Toronto flagship store is found
in the Art & Design District of West Queen West.
Their brand of baby basics made of eco-friendly materials like organic
cotton differ from many baby brands in that they aren't trying to be
cute.
Instead of alot of bunny or puppy prints, Mini Mioche makes really
wearable comfy clothes for babies, toddlers and kids to size 6.
I was already familiar with the Mini Mioche brand from profiling stores
like Baby
on the Hip and Planet
Kid. I can also attest to the quality and maintainability of
the clothes as we own a Mini Mioche tunic.
I like how colour takes center stage instead of a logo or cute animal
print. These are basics that are easily added to you childs wardrobe.
Foundation pieces that can save you from a wardrobe of polka dot pants
and constricting denim.
Mini Mioche also plays to our increasing want of socially
responsible clothing alternatives. Not only is the clothing made from
organic cotton, but the clothing is made locally. Which means it is
sweat shop free!
To round out the store the brains behind Mini Mioche filled the store
with like minded brands that have the same aesthetic as their clothing.
The shoes are free of the normal pinks and blues (well maybe a little
in moderation). Instead there are funky Parisian leather boots and hip
sneaks from lines like Keep, Sweet Shoes, Estella and Easy Peasy or
EZPZ for short.
In addition to shoes there is also a selection of wall decor, stuffed
animals and back packs.
There is even bath products, nail polishes from Piggy Paint and
colouring fun from Clementine Art.
You can shop Mini Mioche in the West
Queen West neighbourhood of
Toronto.
