I took my daughter to the Zoo a few weeks ago for the first time and while she is still too small to get alot out of it, I had a great time.

So far this year I have seen the Canadian Exhibit including the Polar Bears and such wildlife as Cougars and Moose.

We also wandered through the African Savanna.

We became members of the Toronto Zoo which is a great deal if you plan on going more than once a year.

We bought our membership at the end of August 2009 and it is good until August 2010 and only have to go 2 more times to make it worth our while.

No big deal right?

The award winning exhibits cover 710 acres which makes walking the Toronto Zoo great exercise. Did you know that this zoo is one of the largest in the world?

The Toronto Metro Zoo is open 364 days of the year. Wow I think that is a better record than pretty much anywhere. Through the summer they are open 9am to 7:30pm with the last admission at 6:30 pm.
