Merrygoround Toronto

There are two Merrygoround Toronto locations, one in midtown and the other in the west end.

It is the type of place you go to shop for a simple, chic pulled together look.

Clothing ranges from work appropriate, to casual weekend and is at the mid to high range of the price scale.

The mannequins always draw me into Merrygoround every time I walk by the store. Usually because there is one wearing a great day dress in a fun print that I can't resist.

Brands are recognizable like Mexx and Esprit but also include higher end designers and premium denim.

But to me it is the type of store that you aren't really shopping for labels but for a look. The selection is always amazing.

One of the things that customers like about Merrygoround is that the staff pushes them to try on things they wouldn't normally pick out themselves. However sales staff has been reported as rude or snobby especially among customers who decided not to buy what had been suggested.

There are two stores and surprisingly they have two different vibes. I find that the Bloor West store seems to be busier, or at least feels that way, whereas the Yonge & Eglinton store is quieter and more relaxing to shop.

The ladies I know who shop here religiously always look well put together and when it comes right down to it we want clothing that makes us look good.
