It seems like every Toronto shopping neighbourhood has one.
They are even at Yorkdale and the Eaton Center.
This store is so prolific in Toronto you might think it is national chain - this is where you are wrong.
Aside from maybe hearing it mentioned on CityLine, Mendocino isn't well known outside of the Tdot. But it should be.

With designs from New York, California and Paris this shop should be on every womans must shop list.
Mendocino is so popular they even have their own chain of outlet shopping.

In the summer I love Mendocino for their pretty and playful summer dresses, but as the weather gets colder Mendocino starts stocking the must have coats of the season.
Mackage is one of the predominate brands they carry for winter coats.
They are also known for their lux assessories like chunky scarves, faux and real fux vests and cute hats.

And of course Mendocino has jeans.
From Ernest Sewn and hudson to Jbrand and Joes, Mendocino is a must stop for your denim.
That said they don't rival any of the city's denim bars for selection. It is more about the whole ensemble than stocking every style of jean each season.
And you will feel fab for it!
But its not exactly the best fit for the professional career girl who needs suits and buttoned down looks. Its better for casual weekend or going out party attire.
There are more locations than I can shake a stick at but my favourites are Yonge & Eglinton, Queen West and Shops at Don Mills.
The flagship location is on Bloor.
