In fact there are 2 Italian neighbourhoods in Toronto proper, the second is further north along St. Clair known as Corso Italia. However this Italian hub is the oldest and the best known.
Restaurants like Cafe Diplimatico, the Mod club, the numerous martini bars and the Taste of Little Italy festival have made this neighbourhood famous.
Granted the shopping in this neighbourhood is eclipsed by the open air patio after patio, but you should check it out!
With a custom hat store that caters to the stars, an American Apparel, and Girl Friday you can find something great for your closet.
