Lindy's Blonde Salon Makeover

This has been an incredibly lucky year but also a very trying year for me with regard to my health and medical condition.

In January, I had a bypass on my neck due to a major blockage, then in March I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. The reason they found the thyroid cancer was because I had an ultrasound done last fall just by chance, or as luck would have it, due to the fact that I was so very thin as I had had triple bypass surgery on my heart and it was so very hard to put on weight and they thought my thyroid might not be functioning properly.

In June, I had surgery to have the thyroid removed and was told they could not get all the cancer so on September 27th, 2010, I will be going into the hospital for radiation treatment for three days. After that, I will be tested to see if they got the cancer.

During this whole period, I have not had a chance to have my hair done. My hair is graying and I would love to have it cut and highlited and a makeover done to lift my spirits before I go into the hospital for radiation treatment.
