I have mentioned how I think that many of the neighbourhoods in Toronto, especially those in the east end, have a small town feel.
The Beaches feels like a resort town, Leslieville has the funkiness of shopping in an artsy local like Stratford but I take all my previous "small town" labels back because I think that Kingston Rd has a truly rural feel.
Its blue collar and rough around the edges but there is some fantastic shopping to be had just before you enter Scarborough.
