Kids on the Hip

Kids on the Hip is the older sibling to Lesliville's  Baby on the Hip.

And this stores offering is all in the name. It has hip kids clothes. And they are green to boot.

Found in the ultra cool neighbourhood of Leslieville, Kids has everything a growing hipster needs.

Fun toys, a good read and a fab wardrobe.

**Note that this store is no longer open as a stand alone location but has been merged in with Baby on the Hip**

The store is set up for easy manouverability with kids or stroller in tow. And while this should be a no brainer for all kids shops, its not something you find everyday!

The large space is lined with clothes and accented with toys kindof like a picture perfect kids room.


In the back there is a play area. So instead of someone nagging you to leave (no not your husband), kids can play and leave you to do some serious shopping.


This store also carries some of my favourite toys, the Cate and Levi plush animals and puppets. Made from recycled sweaters these toys are a perfect fit for the organic offerings at Kids.
