Joe Fresh Clothes; changing the way we shop for groceries.

Joe Fresh Clothes are loved by hockey moms and fashionistas alike.

When Canadian fashion icon Joe Mimran teamed up with Loblaws they came up with Joe Fresh Style. I remember reading the backlash. Who would shop for clothes when they are shopping for groceries? But people are.

In fact die hard fans drive from downtown Toronto where there are fewer and limited Joe Fresh locations to the subburbs for larger selection.



What I like most about Joe Fresh clothing is that it is so accessable. Not just that the price point is so great, but even the designs are easy to wear.
There is something for everyone too. Jeans and tees, business wear, workout clothes. I love that you can pick up a winter coat without even spending $100 and it is stylish to boot.



I probably spend twice as much time these days in the kids section of Joe Fresh.  The Joe Fresh clothes for children, everything from newborn to toddler and big kids, is super cute.

I think I even did a happy dance when they added adjustable waist bands to the toddler pants recently.



The latest venture for Joe Fresh has been the cosmetics and jewellery. Just like the clothing everything is on trend. I particualarly noticed this with the nail polishes which have every trendy colour going from the mushroomy greys to browns for fall.

I did spend some time looking at the accessories rack. I was SUPER impressed by the necklaces, earings etc.

There is everything from glitzy to minimalist, chunky to delicate. And the price point is very Joe. Even the piece to the right that looks like it was inspired by antique broaches was less than $20.

Just as jewellery can take your outfit to a new level, this jewellery collection has taken Joe Fresh Style to a new level in my opinion.

The biggest thing you need to watch out for when it comes to Joe Fresh clothes is shrinkage. I have had tops for myself and sleepers for my daughter shrink to a new size right before my eyes.

Plus like any clothing line you have to try things on. Some styles just don't fit right. I find that the more classic the piece, for example jeans or a sweater  or the workout wear the less likely you will have problems with fit.

There are also two Joe Fresh Style Studio's that carry only the adult clothing found at Queen Quay Loblaws, Queen & Portland and the Forest Hill Loblaws on St. Clair. Watch for the latest Style Studio coming to Yonge & Carleton at the old Maple Leaf Gardens.

I am also one of those people who have shopped the suburban locations for more Joe Fresh! Whenever I am visiting family in Waterloo I head out to the Superstore to get a fix of Joe Fresh Style.
