Jexy and Jax; a new lifestyle store on the Danforth

Jexy and Jax is a new lifestyle store on the Danforth.

Started by a designer who spent her time designing for other labels in the past, this is her first retail venture full of her own designs and carefully sourced brands.

If you tend to dress on the casual side, but want casual clothing that isn't inspired by the juniors department this store is one you should check out.



Jexy & Jax is the name of the store and the women's clothing line produced in house.

It includes everything from yoga wear and parkas to bright pink western inspired button downs and blazers.

There is also a men's line called XER, which is pronounced sir. Just like the women's equivalent there is a varied lineup of what the store likes to call lifestyle clothing. 

For me this means that there is a selection of completely wearable casual pieces that will easily fit into you wardrobe.

To compliment the Jexy & Jax designs there are a number of additional brands sourced by the owner.

The really cool thing about these brands is that you really don't see them everywhere else. It is refreshing not to see another store with the same accessories or jeans as every other store on the street or in Toronto for that matter.



One of the main reasons I was drawn to this store were the bags. And I am not the only one.

The Amy Kathryn bags found at Jexy & Jax are carried by celebrities and featured in magazines from Teen to Womans Wear Daily.

There are also a range of gorgeous black leather boots from ZigiNY; they don't have skyscraper heels but are easy to wear flats.

Other brands include men's shirts from Tag Dynasty and Jeans from Derby.
