Hogar Home Decor
Whenever I am walking the Leslieville Queen Street strip I stop in awe of the Hogar Home Decor windows.
Usually there is a beautiful dining room setting and a living room to die for.
Maybe its just me, but I wish my home looked so good.
Hogar sets itself apart from other decor spots in the area as it is selling new items at full retail.
Whereas most other shops in the neighbourhood are antique stores.
Once inside the store
reminds me of Pier 1 without the world traveler vibe or a small version
of Pottery Barn.
You will find gifts, candles and other home accents such as the lanterns in the picture above.
Hogar also stocks an assortment of bed and bath linens and accessories for these rooms as well.
In terms of furniture there are an array of couches which you can get custom finished from just under $1000.
Plus find end tables, throw pillows and dining room sets.
Hogar is not somewhere to shop if you are looking for shabby chic, country or something ultra cool or modern.
If that is what you are looking for head to another one of the Leslieville shops, many of the antique stores have items that will suit your style better.
No Hogar is geared towards those with more traditional tastes and want to know that they are the only ones (so far) that have fallen sleep on their couch.
