Here and Now; A different spin on off priced retailing

Here and Now is an off priced retailer hidden in Toronto's Riverside neighbourhood.

When most people think of the Canadian off priced retailer market they immediately think of Winners.

In comparison the selection is limited, no large shoe and accessories section or kids clothing.

But Here & Now offers a different take on the off priced model focusing mainly on bamboo and other natural materials.

Here & Now offers a selection of Women's clothing, men's clothing, bath and bed linens.

The clothing is mainly casual but there were plenty of interesting items that you just don't find everywhere else. Including Winners.


Here & Now has been in Riverside for 7 years. The owner Harold has seen the neighbourhood change into the funky brunch favourite it is now.


The merchandise reflects what would appeal to the residents. Mens dress shirts are funky, the kind that are perfect for casual Friday. The current promotion offers the second dress shirt at half off.


There is a whole wall of gsus tees for women. Cool graphic tees from the Netherlands .

Here & Now isn't fancy but it sure is organized. And tidy. Which makes for a much easier shopping experience.


One of the highest price points in Here & Now is the premium denim for about $70.

When the season is right you will find a number of down filled winter jackets from Misty Mountain and wool coats from Jones New York.



Here & Now is found in Toronto's Riverside neighbourhood, just east of the DVP at 770 Queen E.
