Heel Boy; a popular Toronto shoe boutique

When I went in to check out the Heel Boy location in West Queen West I was surprised that it was so busy I could barely walk around.

Other boutiques in the area must be jealous of its universal popularity.

It differentiates itself from other shoe boutiques by offering shoes that women want to wear. Styles are of the moment but by no means cutting edge of avante garde.

The stock is a mix of recognizeable brands and lesser known companies that just make fabulous shoes.

You will be familiar with Steve Madden, Keds and Toms. There is also an extensive selection of Hunter Wellies. They also carry Seychelles, Rocket Dog and Faryl Robin that are favourites in the store.

Don't be intimidated by the name either. Along with a selection of heels, this boutique also stocks beautiful flats, tall boots and purses. There is also a selection of mens shoes but the overwhelming majority of shoppers were female.

Prices are mid range, compareable to a Nine West or Town Shoes.
