Gussied Up Toronto; 14 plus Style

Gussied Up Toronto plus sized boutique is found in Seaton Village, just south of Bathurst and Dupont.

Its one of a few plus sized Toronto shops that cater to curvy women looking for a better source for pretty and stylish 14 plus clothing.

A destination shop for women trying desparately to dress their curves.



Many girls that have tried to find flattering contemporary clothes in plus sizes complain about the same thing; most options are just maitronly. Like the only women who wear sizes 14 plus are over 50.

Owner Victoria knows this first hand and dreamt of opening her own shop to allow local women a better option.



The selection turns over fast, a tribute to the strong community that follows the Gussied Up social media. This means if you see something you like, buy it before it is gone.

Styles range from work appropriate separates, day dresses, weekend casual and party dresses.



What I noticed about this shop is that the clothing was contemporary without being too trendy or too club-y.

The quality was consistent with what you would expect from a boutique. Somewhere between wear it once and forget it cheap separates and expensive designer investment pieces. I thought the selection was extremely affordable for those looking to build a wardrobe.



One of the items that customers rave about are the jeans. So called miracle jeans from Eunina in a dark wash are popular. Other brands carried are Monif C, IGIGI and plus sized spanx.



Gussied Up is found at 1090 Bathurst, just south of Bathurst and Dupont. Hours of operation are:

Monday - closed
Tuesday - Friday 11am - 7pm
Saturday 11am - 6pm
Sunday 12pm - 5pm
