FAB Baby Gear; Toronto Store

Ottawa based baby boutique, FAB Baby Gear now has a Toronto location.

Providing east end parents another option when it comes to shopping for their babies and toddlers, this baby boutique has everything from car seats and strollers, to clothing, plush animals and bath accessories.



While at first glance FAB might not seem like its breaking new ground when it comes to the Toronto baby boutique scene, there are a number of products that set this store apart.

While it is true that this store is not the only place in the city where you can find Monte rockers or a bumboo or grobags, the store is incredibly easy to shop.



Unlike some of the larger mom and baby stores, FAB is boutique sized but filled to the brim. The layout is such that you just notice that everything looks stylish and modern, not crowded and chaotic.

And while there is a small selection of strollers and car seats there isn't a whole room dedicated to just this before you continue on to the nursery department and so on. Perfect for new parents that have already been overwhelmed by selection! Or parents that have been there done that and just want a specific item.



Even though many of the brands are not new to Toronto, there is a different selection. I found pediped styles that aren't carried elsewhere and even toddler styles that I have only seen online.

Other items like the day and night clock I bought for my daughter I have not seen elsewhere. Ditto with the plush Deglingos dolls.



I was actually surprised at the selection for a relatively small store. And feel that with the addition of this baby boutique to the Danforth the east end now has the type of selection you had to drive to midtown to experience.




FAB Baby Gear is found on the Danforth and is open the following hours:

Monday - Thursday 10 - 6
Friday 10 - 8
Saturday 10 - 6
Sunday 11 - 5
