Dundas West is a neighbourhood of contradictions. Its where the old world meets new.

This neighbourhood is also known as Little Portugal. The Portuguese and Brazilian influences are obvious. Portuguese bakeries, grocery stores and social clubs litter the streets. Even some of the ladies and children's boutiques have a European selection.

On the other hand the area is gentrifying with hipster cafes, new stores like Magwood and Cristal Shoes Boutique.
