Drysdale and Co; a gift shop on the Danforth with alot more than Birthday cards

Drysdale and Co is a gift shop on the Danforth.

Its not usually somewhere I think to go into, because for me gift shops aren't exactly my shops of choice.

Usually there is just cards, knick knacks and gift bags.

But Drysdale & Co is quirkier than your normal gift shop.

instead of going there because it is someones birthday (although that is a good time to go) you can visit because you are going on a trip or want to be pampered or want your kids to have the coolest hat on the playground!

Upon entering Drysdale & Co I was greated by a wall of hats. Some quirky sock monkey hats that would be perfect for a kid and some quite stylish berets.


Equally cute and warm were the knitted animal mittens. Super fun for big and small kids alike.

Also as you walk in you will see a carosel of cards, thankfully Drysdale & Co didn't dedicate walls upon walls for cards alone.


Wandering further into the store I started to get hooked. I am a sucker for travel accessories because if I had tons of money I would travel the world.

Duffle bags and back packs from Yakpack fused utility and practicality with fun and a bit of style. No these aren't Louis Vuitton but I bet someone wonders where they could get one just like yours.


It doesn't stop with duffle bags either, small fulton umbrellas that will fit in any purse, wallets and more travel accessories line a full wall.


And then we get into the beauty products. Notable names include Toronto's own Cake beauty products amonge others. Scrubs, cremes, gels and nail polish will make you feel pretty and pampered.



Funny stuffed monsters or limited edition tees and hoodies from crywolf.  

I like to think that the selection of items at Drysdale & Co makes it more of a discovery shop instead of just another gift shop.

No nick nacks just fun stuff that you will want to keep popping in to see everytime there is a new shipment.

Monday to Saturday: 11 - 7
Sunday: 12 - 6
