The Danforth Toronto Neighbourhood Shopping

Danforth Toronto is made up of a number of neighbourhoods the most important of which when it comes to shopping are the Danforth and Greektown.

With numerous restaurants littering the sidewalks you would think there is little room for fashion in this little taste of Europe in East York

And while the area may be better known for the ethnicity of its residents and its tasty festival there is plenty of shopping to keep you busy.

Try the shwarma and baklava but also check out the shops from Bridal to eco-friendly and lots of Canadian content.

Look for tabula rasa a new boutique just south of Danforth Ave on Broadview.

Futher east along Danforth Avenue you enter the Mosaic neighbourhood and then Danforth Village. There isn't really a boutiquey presence in this stretch but you can find Islamic clothing as well as some African and Far Eastern eateries.
