Anthropologie Toronto, a torontoShopoholic Favourite
Anthropologie Toronto opened its Canadian doors with its location at the Shops at Don Mills in April 2009 and torontoShopoholic couldn't have been more excited! After catching wind of the rumors in late 2008, the countdown was on and it was worth the wait! With flirty dresses, fun tops, housewares and accessories galore; Anthropologie is the place to go to add a touch of girly to your outfit. UPDATE: Toronto's second Anthropologie store is OPEN in Yorkville!

Anthropologie is known for its prints, floral tops, printed bedspreads - you get the idea. This is not a shop for someone looking for clean minimalist look. More pretty boho. Targeted to young professional women however anyone looking for some femininity for their wardrobe will love Anthropologie.

If you are looking for deals there are plenty at Anthropologie if you are willing to wait for the item you like to not be the latest and greatest in the store. I have seen lots of what I have bought a few months after I have worn them to death in the sale nook. The sale section seems to be bigger at the Shops at Don Mills location.

What we found at Anthropologie for Summer 2009
To the right is what has knocked our socks off at Anthroplogie so far this year. Definitely check out the sale nook at the back of the Shops at Don Mills location - so many great things still lurking back there!
Looking forward to Fall 09 at AnthropologieEven through the summer is just kicking into high gear in Toronto, torontoShopoholic is already looking at what stores are giving us a glimpse at for Fall 09. Look for these items at Anthropologie!
Inverness Trench
(love the bow at the back!) Chroma Flight blouse
(great under a suit)
Gentle Current cardigan
(cozy yet fashionable) Much Obliged Shoulder bag (perfect slouchy bag)
Joes Jeans Kint Chelsea
(perfectly slim silhouette)
More Anthropologie BrowsingTruely I can always find something I like at Anthropologie. Indian summer is still kicking around but here are some pieces I think will make great wardrobe additions! Pick up on the draping trend from this years collections with
this seasonless skirt.
Pair it with a pop of colour from the
Stained glass top
An alternative skirt option is this pretty draped one by
Anna Sui
which could work for all seasons. Pair it with tights and booties for fall and winter!
Anthropologie Winter 2009Even though it is now November it hasn't gotten that cold out yet. No snow in sight! So shopping the new arrivals at Anthropologie I am thinking less about winter than I should be. I have fallen for this
Soaring the Sea top
, but I should instead be thinking of all the upcoming Christmas parties. A red dress is a Holiday Season must! Check out
this one!
Looking forward to when it does get super cold, this
sweater coat
will be great with tights and boots or
skinny jeans!
