The
Beaches Toronto (or the Beach, the name is
under debate) is like a
cottage
town in the east end.
With a long strech of shopping along
Queen E, brunch
spots and a stones throw from Lake Ontario this neighbourhood is a
tourists dream.
Locals shouldn't shy away however, visiting this neighbourhood can make
you feel like you have had a weekend away without even leaving the
city. The Beaches Toronto is a must visit during the summer
for
its famous jazz festival!
Even though there are plenty of indepedent boutiques, this area is much
more commercialized than its neighbouring hoods to the west Leslieville
and Riverdale.
There are at least four Starbucks on this strip!
